1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents on a visitor's behalf.

Its role is to identify the Madison County Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, MSHP CJIS repository, Missouri Sex Offender Registry, and other official channels that maintain records. Some pages also connect readers with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following restrictions. You must not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked service may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also violate the law. Missouri registry information requires particular care: the Missouri Sex Offender Registry warns that using its data to facilitate a crime is illegal. Registry records support lawful public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or retaliation.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A legally regulated background check must come from MSHP CJIS through the appropriate official process or from a screening company that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Content is general information, not legal advice. Although it describes Madison County record systems, it cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement law affects a particular person. Consult a Missouri-licensed attorney for that advice.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Missouri. Public criminal-record access remains governed by the Missouri Sunshine Law and applicable dissemination rules, including section 43.509.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in force. The affected provision will be narrowed only enough to make it enforceable.
